Saturday April 10, 2010 was the date for Dana White’s latest UFC event. The “UFC 112: Invincible” Pay-Per-View took place on Saturday in United Arab Emirates, with the event airing on Pay-Per-View in the United States at 1PM EST. The top fights of the main card including Anderson Silva vs. Demian Maia. This fight saw Anderson Silva successfully defend the Middleweight Championship with a unanimous decision. Previously, Silva was scheduled to take on Vitor Belford who had to withdraw due to a shoulder injury.
Other matches included a lightweight championship bout between BJ Penn and Frankie Edgar. The fight between two United States fighters saw Edgar win by unanimous decision as well, to capture the UFC Lightweight Championship!
