2010 Masters tournament TV coverage schedules – Tiger Woods tee off & TV coverage

The 2010 Masters Tournament coverage is underway today at Augusta National Golf Club with all eyes on one man, Tiger Woods.  Woods is making his return to the golf course after the scandal which became public late last year involving several extramarital affairs behind wife Elin’s back.  To date there’s been as many as 14 or more Tiger Woods mistresses reported, and the golf star considered a model human being quickly became the center of controversy and even more media buzz than ever before.

Tiger will look to get his mind off all that when he tees off later on Thursday.  ESPN has been given permission to televise at least Tiger’s tee off.  After that, the TV coverage of Tiger Woods will be limited.  ESPN will show break-ins during other programs and on Sportscenter highlights to update fans as to Tiger’s status and the rest of the field’s status.

2010 Masters tournament TV coverage will go from Thursday through Sunday.  ESPN will have coverage from 4PM to 7:30 PM on Thursday.  Masters.com will also have live coverage via its website in the form of audio or video.  CBS will air highlight shows Thursday and Friday at 11:30 PM EST, which are scheduled for a 15 minute run time, most likely pre-empting Letterman.  This weekend, CBS will take over TV coverage of the remaining tournament play, with scheduled coverage on Saturday at 3:30 PM to 7PM EST, and Sunday 2PM EST to 7PM EST.
