2010 March Madness bracket update – Friday night March 26, 2010, eight more teams played in the 2010 NCAA Regional Semifinals. Among the teams playing were #1 seed Duke, #2 Ohio State and #4 Baylor, each looking to advance to the Elite Eight. Also competing were Tennessee, Purdue, Saint Mary’s, Michigan State and #9 seed University of Northern Iowa.
Here’s a look at the game scores for Day 2 of the 2010 NCAA Sweet Sixteen:
#6 Tennessee 76
#2 Ohio St. 73 (final)
#3 Baylor 72
#10 St. Mary’s 49 (final)
#5 Michigan St. 59
#9 Northern Iowa 52 (final)
#1 Duke 70
#4 Purdue 57 (final)
This weekend, four games will be held to set up our Final Four (see Elite Eight schedule). Kentucky will play West Virginia, Butler and Kansas State will lock up on Saturday. On Sunday it will be Michigan State against Tennessee, with four of these teams making it into this year’s coveted Final Four. After we have those four, next weekend’s two games will lead to the National Championship on the following Monday night!
